Year: 2023

Scope: Feasibility study & Concept proposal

Inthanou Farm is a farming initiative that conceptualises around self-sufficiencyustaining principles that can be shown through the farm's organic farming, livestock raising, and closeness to water for fishing availability. As a future action, the farm's owner plans to build a workshop that can manufacture and assemble tiny homes for their staff while also serving as a vocational training space for crafting and building.

The building takes its concept from Khmer Temples, where high open peaks act as a chimney to blow out hot air while under ground level absorbs cold air from the ground. This creates natural air-conditioning features for the building. To help with cooling retention, a 30-cm natural earth wall is proposed.
